Decided to grab a late lunch in Albuquerque, found this great parking lot to park at and walk around. Right next to it was Ex Novo Brewing Company. Well from my experience and former owner of a brew pub in New England, you know the food has got to be good, so, it was a no brainer to eat here. They have a very cool space, with outside seating and a stage for live entertainment under an awning representing what it use to be, a Firestone tire store and station. And once you go inside you will notice the 20 something foot ceilings, the large garage doors, a bar in the middle towards the back and a merchandise wall with cool t shirts and take home beer. The food was as expected, delicious. I had the “Churrasco steak and potatoes “ which was full of flavor and a nice little spicy flavor. We also had at the table the “Latin American power bowl with chicken” again outstanding flavor and both dishes, the presentation was eye catching. I wanted to try a beer, I could only do one as we are driving around the south exploring, so one “Boots with Spurs” American Pilsner” for me it was. Have you ever wanted a crisp cold beer on a hot day, well this beer tasted just like that, a refreshing cold beer with a nice little spicy crisp taste. The staff were great and friendly. We came in on a switch change so it took a few minutes to get someone over, but they were very polite. They have music playing but it not too loud even with the high ceilings. So this place definitely deserves a 5 star. If you’re in Albuquerque or driving historic RT 66 / I90 make this place a stop, you can’t bet the overall atmosphere with amazing flavorful foods.

Really cute place and spacious. Also probably the best bar food I’ve ever had, they actually treat it like a restaurant. Beer is good. Service is a little confusing and could be improved with more communication.

Chef, I don't know where you came from, but you're a culinary wizard. You're creating the best food, in Albuquerque. Pinon-Bacon Fried Rice? Scallops in corn pudding with bacon, with champagne mousse? GTFO!! You are SLAYING IT. Visiting from Denver, but I'd return to Albquerque, just for this spot. Liked it SO much, I ate here two of the three days I was in ABQ. The Mexican Lager was just a bonus.

We came to check out the new location and eat the food prepared/organized by the chef who we heard was on a Gordon Ramsey show. The food was amazing. Everything that our table got was great. The burger was very delicious and one of our party got a pasta from the menu that was amazing. The beer choices were good, but we were surprised at the quality of the cocktails, which we weren’t expecting, but which were excellent. The service was quite slow for a place that’s new and quite large. It seemed like there were a lot of servers, but they were not always very attentive or very present out on the restaurant floor. The atmosphere in this new place is great. I can’t wait to visit again in the summer with more of the outdoors area open. Will be an excellent venue for a wedding reception or other events like that in the future I believe.

Came here for late lunch and sat at the bar. Ordered the Pinon Bacon Rice, for it being a small plate on their menu, it sure did fill me up for a drive back up north! Beer was great, good ol Mass Ascension IPA for the win! Staff and bartenders are really nice, shoutout to the kitchen crew, you guys know what you’re doing!! I enjoyed every bit of my plate, cheers!
